User agreement for Stars and Stripes story comments

January 17, 2014

Stars and Stripes values your comments and encourages an open, energized discussion on topics of interest to our readers. But, like all good things, there are limits to what is suitable for posting in our comments forums. We want stripes.com to be a useful site for intelligent respectful discussion and we welcome thoughtful comments representing a range of views that make their point concisely and politely.

You are solely responsible for your comments, and we ask your cooperation in ensuring that all of your comments are civil in nature and that you avoid inappropriate postings. Before you post your comment, please read it over. Think about what you've written; make sure you've made your point clearly and concisely, and that it falls within our comment policy.

All comments are moderated and we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to remove, move, or edit comments that we feel violate these rules or are otherwise inappropriate.
