How do I subscribe to the newspaper?

The Stars and Stripes newspaper is published overseas for troops stationed in Europe and the Pacific, where we offer paid home delivery, and also provided at no charge to deployed forces in Afghanistan and the Gulf States.

To find out if you live in a home-delivery area, please tell us where you live.

We do not print a daily paper stateside, although our publishing partners across the United States do distribute our weekly U.S. Edition to some of our stateside military bases.  Subscriptions are available only to Department of Defense personnel (active, inactive or retired), advertisers, and companies or organizations associated with the Department of Defense. If you’re a relative of a service member, the account must be in the service member’s name.

Daily readers living outside home delivery areas, who have a U.S. mailing address (including APO/FPO), may receive mail delivery from our Pacific office for $13.00 + $6.00 postage ($19.00) per month.  Each day’s newspaper will be sent via 3rd Class U.S. mail and will take at least one week to arrive.  You may fill out a request online at subscribe.stripes.com. Prepayment is required to begin your subscription, with a minimum of three months ($57.00) paid in advance by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or by check mailed to:

Stars and Stripes Pacific, Attn: Mail Subscriptions, APO AP 96338-5002

For other mail subscription related questions, please contact us by emailing MemberServices@stripes.com. We will need your mailing address, home phone number and payment method in order to start your subscription.
