Our Android app and our iPhone app are only .99 cents as a one-time download cost currently and are not subscription-based. They provide articles within a limited number of popular news categories for the two most recent days. They only include one photo per article (no galleries), no videos and no interactive stories or graphics. They are designed for a more “on-the-go” experience with Stars and Stripes news. You can share and comment on articles in both phone apps, just like you can in the iPad app.
The Stars and Stripes Tablet Edition iPad app is a monthly or annual subscription-based publication. You will only be charged IF you select one of the subscription options AND provide your iTunes password when prompted. You will not be charged automatically. Our iPad app includes a free week preview. When your free week preview is over, you can enjoy reading 6 articles per month.
If you delete the iPad app without actively subscribing, you will not be charged. If you keep the app on your iPad and do not subscribe, you can continue to enjoy 6 articles per month after the free week preview expires.
