To search for an archived photo, visit our digital archive: http://starsandstripes.newspaperarchive.com (access does require a small subscription fee, the lowest of which is $4.95 for a day). Please note, however, that the archive content was mostly created from microfilm, which doesn't reliably yield an image that you can reproduce with any clarity. You will be able to download and save PDF pages from the archive for your personal use. However, you will also need our permission if you intend to use the image for any public display or reproduction.
If you feel you need more help, please contact our library about the possibility of scanning the image you seek from one of our original archived newspapers: http://www.stripes.com/member/subscriber-service/archives. The library will also be able to assist you in securing permission if you don't intend the image strictly for personal use.
